How I Work
Therapy is not one-size-fits-all — and it shouldn’t be. I’m a qualified Hypnotherapist with additional training in psychotherapeutic techniques, which I use in a flexible, person-centred way to support each client individually.
This means our sessions are guided by you — your pace, your needs, and what feels helpful for where you are right now. Sometimes we’ll talk things through; other times we may use gentle hypnotherapy to explore deeper patterns or make positive changes. There’s no rigid structure — just a calm, supportive space where you can reflect, process, and begin to move forward.
Whether you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck in old habits or simply in need of space to talk, I’m here to help you reconnect with yourself and explore what’s getting in the way of living more freely.

Session Options
I offer one-to-one therapy sessions that last 60 minutes. You can choose from:
- In-person sessions – at my practice in Burscough
- Online sessions – via Zoom or other secure platforms
- Telephone sessions – for clients who prefer not to be on screen
Before we begin, I offer a free 15-minute consultation by phone or Zoom so we can talk through what you’re looking for, and you can decide if working together feels like the right fit.
An Integrative, Person-Centred Approach
My work is grounded in person-centred values — meaning I will always see you as the expert in your own experience. I don’t offer advice or quick fixes, but instead help you develop your own insight, clarity, and tools for change.
Hypnotherapy can be a powerful part of that journey, helping access the unconscious mind where long-standing beliefs and patterns are held. You’ll always remain fully in control, and together we’ll decide if it’s something you’d like to include in your sessions.
I support clients with a wide range of emotional and behavioural challenges, including anxiety, low self-esteem, stress, grief, sleep issues, habits, and relationship difficulties. Therapy is tailored to your needs — whether you’re facing something specific or just feeling stuck.
I work from my private practice at 14 Clough Avenue, Burscough, Ormskirk, L40 5BG. Many of my clients come from Ormskirk, Skelmersdale, Wigan, Formby, Maghull, Aughton, Parbold, and across West Lancashire, Merseyside and Greater Manchester. I also offer online and telephone sessions, so location doesn’t need to be a barrier.
Each session is 60 minutes long and fully tailored to you. We’ll talk through whatever’s going on for you, and I may introduce hypnotherapy techniques if you’re open to it. You’ll always be in control, and we’ll go at your pace with kindness and care.
Yes — I offer flexible sessions via Zoom, telephone, or in person. This means you can access support from the comfort of your home, or come to see me face-to-face if that’s your preference. We can also switch formats as needed.
